A Blog Recomendation

If you haven’t heard of ~synthesis~ yet, don’t feel bad.  I came across this blog only earlier this week.  I only found out about it because I was looking through Time.com’s 25 best blogs of 2009 article.  The blog is written by Shafeen Charania, a Tanzanian born Canadian who lives in the NW United States.  This guy is incredibly sharp…some of the blogs are way over my head.  I also should warn you that he does not write quick, pithy blogs but they are definitely worth the time and attention.

Today he just finished writing a blog called “Oversight or Insight” critiquing the United States for trying to control how things are being done instead of creating incentives for smarter, better equipped people to do it for the government.   It’s time we as Americans not just elect someone we agree with but elect someone who can create systems that achieve actual change.  Shafeen’s blog spells out some really simple, direct ways we can bring reform to the government. Check it out, I think you’ll enjoy it!
