Returning to Uganda

For those of you who haven’t heard yet, at the end of June, I’m going to be journeying to Uganda with a small group of guys from Cedar Rapids and Kansas City.  Here’s the letter I wrote to those who typically support us in prayer and giving that you can read if you’re interested.

For those who haven’t been around as long, I’ve been to Uganda once before and was deeply challenged by the things I learned from believers there.  I also had the privilege of leading more people to Jesus in Uganda then I had in the previous five years of my Christian life.  I hadn’t planned on returning so quickly because my thoughts and responsibilities lie more with Ethiopia than Uganda.  That said, God has seen fit to send us back, for reasons you can read about in my letter.

So, over the next few weeks I’ll be blogging about preparations and things going on in my heart in regards to the trip.  Feel free to ask questions, pray, hear from Jesus, and share what you’re hearing. I’m not really expecting those of you who read this blog to contribute financially to the trip, but if Jesus stirs your heart, the letter has directions about ways you can do that.  Thanks for joining me on this journey.
